The MGM project workshop took place on 5. / 6. March 2014 at ICST in our Medicampus location.
The guest artist was renowned singer Donatienne Michel-Dansac.
This workshop addressed expressivity and corporeal aspects in the performance of “théatre musical” repertoire, in particular the first piece from ‘Récitation’ by Georges Aperghis.

From this workshop, questions of interpretation and notation were discussed, explored, performed and shown in pedagogical as well as experiential ways.
In the workshop we invited student to singers work directly with Donatienne on some Aperghis repertoire pieces and the in a worskhop situation the entire extended team was led by her in a théatre musical experience using the composer’s book Zig-Bang.
The video of the performance by Donatienne Michel-Dansac was subsequently used as a study-case for qualitative and quantitative evaluation. (For more on this subproject, see here)
